Recellme 28 days A-Free Serum Review

Do you participate in Instagram giveaways? I did! Last August, I won a beauty giveaway in Instagram for the first time. One of the products I received was Recellme 28 Days A-Free Serum.

Recellme is a new Korean brand which was just launched this year. Having all-natural ingredients, the brand's objective is to work on pimple and acne concerns while providing anti-aging assistance at the same time. Its tagline is "An affordable luxury your skin deserves".

Recellme 28 Days A-Free Serum

Both Recellme's toner and serum packaging states that they have AHA, PHA and Peptide 3 in their products. AHA and PHA are essentials to fight pimple and acne. They are both acids (Alpha Hydroxy Acids and Poly Hydroxy Acids respectivelyand exfoliators as they remove dead cells on the skin's surface. Peptide 3 on the other hand reduces fine lines and wrinkles. The serum comes in a 100 ml dropper bottle.

Key ingredients: Aside from the acids mentioned, the notable ingredients in the serum are Tea Tree, Niacinamide and Adenosine.
  • Tea Tree - This ingredient has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties which makes it a good agent in treating acne and pimples.
  • Niacinamide - Also a form of Vitamin B3, Niacinamide reduces skin inflammation, controls sebum and fights pigmentation.
  • Adenosine - This is a yeast-derived ingredient known to have anti-wrinkle benefits.

Application: For 28 days as stated on its name, I used this serum during my PM routine. After toner and essence, I applied 3-4 drops of the product on to my face and neck.

Observation:  If you're not a fan of tea tree scent, I know you will be outright discouraged with this serum but hear me out:

  • It's good because...

  1. Recellme 28 Days A-Free Serum is priced at P790. This is a reasonable cost for this type of skincare product.
  2. this 100 ml serum can last up to 6 months depending on the usage - a true value for money.
  3. the formulation gets absorbed easily by the skin. Stickiness subsides after a few minutes.
  4. it is effective making my small pimples disappear overnight. I can say the product performed well on my skin.

  • Even Better If...
  1. they check the texts on the packaging. Please correct me if I am wrong, I think there's a little typo on the box. It should be "An" affordable luxury your skin serves not "And", don't you think?
  2. the texture of the serum is not too watery. Because the liquid is too runny, it tends to drip from my face.
  3. there will be no oily residue on the hands after application.

Thoughts: First, I want to say that I was really happy that I got this product for free! In general, I like this product and will continue to use this in my routine. I don't have major issues as far as the 28 days usage is concerned. Will I purchase this in the future? I am interested in their anti-aging properties so yes!
