Etude House Play Color Eyes Mini Hershey’s Original Swatches and Review

Raise your hand if you're a chocolate-lover and a Kbeauty fan at the same time! You've probably seen this all over social media: Korean brand Etude House has the sweetest collaboration with Hershey's! Okay, I'm not talking about myself here but the popular chocolate brand. Hehe! The palette collection or what they call Etude House Play Color Eyes Mini Hershey’s, came in two limited edition variants: Cookies N' Cream and the Original. I, without a doubt and second glance at my no buy-low buy rule, purchased the latter from Korea. I just can't.

The palette comes in a wrapper that resembles the chocolate candy bar. It has 6 shades with sugar-overload names: Delicious Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, A Sweet Message, Chocoholic, Yammy Chocolate and Real Hershey's. The palette itself is dainty and fits the size of my palm. I bought this for around P800, a bit pricey compared to other palettes from drugstore makeup lines like Maybelline.

I'm all for natural-looking makeup so I'm glad that the shades are of nude colors and combination of shimmer and matte. They are non-powdery yet silky soft, blend-able and have good staying power too.

You can see that the shade Delicious Chocolate is too sheer for me. You can't see anything, haha!

The shades are lightly pigmented so if you're into something distinct and bold, you may find this palette short for your preference. But if you're into neutral colors or looking for an eye palette for daytime use, then you found the love of your life.

Now wait, this eye makeup is just a part of Etude House x Hershey collection. Shall I dig in some more?
