Fresh Skinlab Jeju Aloe Ice Soothing Gel Lotion Review

Last month while on quarantine, I asked my husband to buy me a Soothing Gel he can find in the drugstore. He picked Fresh Skinlab Jeju Aloe Ice Soothing Gel Lotion. This is the first time he chose a beauty product for me so let’s see if he got this right. Haha!

Fresh Skinlab Jeju Aloe Ice Soothing Gel Lotion

Formulated with Aloe Vera from Jeju, this soothing gel rejuvenates and improves skin's condition.

Key Ingredient:
  • Aloe Vera Extract - moisturizes and relieves skin irritation

Observation: The 300 ml soothing gel lotion comes in a plastic tub that is bigger than my palm. Its fragrance is floral and a bit of powdery, the kind you want to wear everyday. The texture looks creamy but feels light on the skin. When spread, this lotion dampens your skin for seconds then stays with a matte finish.

It's good because...
  1. my skin looks moisturized and I didn't have breakouts while using this.
  2. the cooling effect is present and feels relaxing. Put this in the fridge before using for extra coolness, perfect for summer!
  3. the 300 ml is a lot that I can share this product with my husband.
  4. the price is economical for only P199 and can easily be bought in drugstores.
Even better if... they tell how much aloe concentration there is in this product. (It's just me.)

Conclusion: I sometimes apply this soothing gel whenever a sheet mask leaves a tacky residue on my face. I also spread some of this on my legs after shaving to provide skin relief. Sure, this one provides cooling sensation, smells pleasant and gives the right amount of moisture but there’s no oomph factor as a face product. For me, this seems more like a lotion than gel. I prefer this on my body though and will continue using it that way.
