Vegreen Nature Mucin Toner and Serum Review

You may have seen Vegreen a few times on Instagram. This newcomer brand focuses on skincare that is cruelty-free and contains safe ingredients. Even their packaging is eco-friendly too. They use sugarcane residue for their boxes and soy ink for printing. Vegreen gifted me with two of their products and after 2 weeks of use, it’s time to share my thoughts about them.

Vegreen Alcohol-Free Nature Mucin Toner - This product contains 68% Mucin from Wild Yam Extract and 3% Panthenol. It aims to revitalize and brighten tired skin. Aside from not containing alcohol, it has nil fragrance too. This toner has a thick texture yet it doesn’t take long to get absorbed by the skin. I like that it keeps my skin hydrated without any kind of stickiness.

Vegreen Fragrance-Free Nature Mucin Serum - A nice vegan alternative to snail mucin is this serum. This product consists of 63% Wild Yam Extract, 5% Panthenol and Ceramide. It aims to moisturize and strengthen skin’s barrier. The gel-like texture feels light and moist on the skin but I have to wait for a bit before it sinks through. I can see its brightening effect on my face and my skin feels soft and plump after use.

Verdict:
I find these products to be compatible with our tropical climate. If I’m asked which do I like more between the two, it’ll be the serum. In fact, I’m already half-way through my bottle.

Overall, these two are pretty straightforward skincare products. I like that Vegreen showcases minimalism in packaging and healthy ingredients. I’m glad I got to try this brand.
